About Kira Kimble
I am originally from Erie, PA but have called Charlotte home since 2001. I have been married for 19 years and have 4 children. Prior to becoming a doula, I worked in marketing for almost 10 years at The Charlotte Observer, The Gaston Gazette and The Winston-Salem Journal. I graduated from Wake Forest University with a degree in business concentrating on Business Law and Marketing. I also attended Phillips Academy in Andover, MA where I received a global education that inspired my love of languages. I studied Japanese and Spanish in college and doula for families in both English and Spanish.
People often ask what does TJACK mean? I started TJACK Doula Services in 2013 to assist couples in having satisfying and empowering birth experiences. I could not support my clients for hours, sometimes days at a time, without the support of my family. The letters TJACK were the first initials of each member of my family when I began my doula journey. I became a doula after experiencing first hand the difference doula support can make. You can read about how doula support helped me through my homebirth. |
